Privacy Policy
The short version: no advertising trackers, no analytics, and no cookies. This page describes exactly what the site does, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.
Who Is Responsible
This site belongs to NARBC, the North American Reptile Breeders Conference & Trade Shows, hosted by Chicago Reptile House and ECO Publishing. The legal entity responsible for anything you send through it is [NARBC to confirm: registered entity name & address · Q13]. When this policy says "we", that's who it means.
What We Do Not Do
This website sets no cookies. It loads no analytics, no advertising pixels and no social tracking scripts. There is no Google Analytics, no Google Tag Manager, no Meta pixel and no session recording. Nothing on these pages profiles you or follows you to other sites.
We also do not sell, rent, or share personal information with anyone for advertising, and never have. There's nothing here to opt out of, but the requests described under "Your Choices" work all the same.
Nothing Is Stored on Your Device
This site writes nothing at all to your browser: no cookies, no local storage, no session storage. It used to keep a single entry recording whether you preferred the light or dark colour scheme; that toggle was retired, so even that is gone. Close the tab and no trace of your visit remains on your machine.
When You Send Us Something
The contact form and the "notify me" boxes are the only places this site accepts information. The contact form asks for your name, email address, what your message is about, and the message itself. A notify-me box asks only for your email address and remembers which announcement you asked about, so the right news reaches you and nothing else:[NARBC to confirm: one-time alert only, or may these emails also join a mailing list? · Q16]
What you submit lands in a private spreadsheet in NARBC's own Google account and is emailed to the show team so they can reply, which means Google processes it for us as our provider, the same way it would an email you sent us. It is not sold, rented or passed to advertisers. Each form also carries a hidden decoy field that people never see; if automated spam fills it, the submission is discarded before it is ever sent. How Long We Keep It

Your Choices
Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will, whoever and wherever you are; we don't make you cite a statute first. If your state's privacy law gives you specific rights, the same request handles those too. A notify-me address can be taken off the list the same way. Links That Leave This Site
Vendor listings, ticket links, sponsor logos, and the media page point to sites we do not run: vendors' own shops, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, MorphMarket, Google Maps and our ticketing provider. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's site under their privacy policy, not this one. Ticket purchases happen entirely on the ticketing provider's system (TicketSpice, and RegFox for vendor booths, both run by Webconnex); no payment details are ever entered on, or seen by, this site.
Hosting
The site is served as static files by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the network requests needed to deliver a page, which means an IP address and browser user-agent, for security and delivery. We do not add our own logging on top of that, and we do not build profiles from it.
Children
NARBC shows are family events and children are very welcome at them, but this website is not aimed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them. The forms ask only for an email address and a message; if a child has sent us theirs, a parent can use "Your Choices" above and we'll delete it.
Changes
If what the site does changes, this page changes first and the date below moves. A meaningful change gets a note here, not a silent edit.
This page describes how the site is built. A short number of things can only come from NARBC and are deliberately not guessed here, each marked inline above: the legal entity (Q13), the privacy request inbox (Q14), how long submissions are kept (Q15), whether notify-me feeds a mailing list (Q16), and review by NARBC's own counsel (Q19).
